N. WILLIAMSBURG CONDO

After a flood devastated this N. Williamsburg condo building, OAD Interiors was hired to renovate. OAD turned this client's misfortune into an opportunity to create a home that was more a reflection of the owner and design a space that would become her haven.

One challenging request for OAD was to work with a lilac and lavender palette. In the bedroom they decided to go all in with a monotone scale and create a glow through lavender drapery. Taking inspiration from James Turell installations where he makes any color mesmerizing. Highlighting works from Brooklyn based artists, a sculptural chair/object from Studio Poa and a lamp by Luke Malaney.

To add touches of lavender in areas like the kitchen and bath they chose to do so with unique    lilac marble tiles from Artistic Tile. Choosing a soft and subtle ribbed marble tile for the en suite bath also from Artistic Tile. The dining and living area feature squiggly dining chairs by CAM Design Co, a statement black lamp and gold planter by Forma Rosa Studio, a sculptural chair by Studio Poa and a blown glass vase by Sticky and Studio SII.
